Board of Directors.
President: Edie Cooper RN, BSN, CDE
- Direct chapter activities by delegating responsibility and overseeing committees
- Appoint committee chairpersons
- Receive all correspondence from national office and distribute to appropriate officers/committee chairs
- Keep members informed of AADE activities, chapter activities, and activities of other chapters through newsletter, web site, and reports at meetings
- Cast the deciding vote in case of a tie
- Represent chapter at meetings with other professional groups
- Provide guidance in developing chapter’s strategic goals
President Elect: Lisa Gold RN, CDE
- Substitute for President as necessary
- Act as parliamentary
- Attend/participate in the AADE Leadership training
- Automatically succeeds President for the next term and in the event of vacancy
- Work with the President in goal setting
- Oversee committees
Immediate Past President: Pat Custer RD, MS, CDE
- The Immediate Past President shall chair the Nominating Committee and shall perform such other duties as are assigned by these Bylaws and the Board of Directors
Vice President: Stacey Harris RN, CCRN, CDE
- Succeed the President-elect in the event of a vacancy
- Assist in goal setting and program planning
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President, the chapter’s bylaws, or the chapter’s Board of Directors (Bylaws)
- Participate in developing the chapter’s strategic plan
Secretary: Angi Lyon RN, MSN, FNP, CDE
- Maintain permanent file of all official chapter records including chapter charter, incorporation papers, bylaws, and minutes of meetings
- Maintain current membership roster and send current list to leadership as needed and web administrator for inclusion on the web
- Send a roster of chapter members to AADE headquarters by the start of each calendar year
- Read any correspondence that chapter has received at chapter meetings
- Ensure timely notice of all meetings and complete chapter’s reports and meeting minutes
Treasurer: VACANT (elections being held this month)
- Prepare and publish financial statement in the chapter newsletter
- Develop in conjunction with Board of Directors the chapter’s budget
- Maintain accurate record of dues payments
- Collect dues from chapter’s members (if applicable)
- File state and federal tax reports as necessary, prepare financial reports for meetings
- Maintain financial records of chapter and supervise financial transactions of chapter
